    But beebeep.rc is born to do it instead of ini.

    Hello! Normally you have to create a beebeep.rc file ad not a beebeep.ini to "install" default configuration.
    The file beebeep.ini contains "user related stuff"...
    So you can install BeeBEEP in every workstation and then copy in the install folder the file beebeep.rc.

    I installed compiz a few days ago but it didn't worked properly so I didn't checked this options.
    I'm using plain Debian 10 (Buster) installation and still didn't find solution to this.

    ISSUE: beebeep_last_versions.txt This happens when "Data folder" is not properly configured or it has not "write permissions"..
    That file is the one BeeBEEP download from the website to see if there is a new version available.
    I don't know why BeeBEEP saves it to desktop...

    More info on the timestamp anomily.
    It does happen on all other machines if you set "Show the timestamp with AM/PM notation".
    Also it does the same thing with the seconds if they are less then 10.
    So not an anomily just for this machine.

    Another anpmily only on this machine: I have BeeBeep set to show the timestamp of each chat.
    The minutes portion of the timestamp shows a single digit if the minute is less then 10.
    I.E: (2020-01-15 9:5:31 am) it should read (2020-01-15 9:05:31 am) at least here in the US.

    Does not seem to matter if the window is already present and is raised up or if it is a new window.
    I have had it happen both ways.
    Also I thought it only happened with chats coming from a certain user but yesterday it happened from a second user.

    Solved it! NordVPN has a function named Invisibility on LAN which makes the computer invisible to others on the LAN.
    Why it was set I don't know.
    But now BeeBEEP works again.

    Hello, Firewall on all computers allow BeeBEEP to make connections.
    Other PC's communicate OK, just one, recently added to the network will not connect.
    They all use the same ports.
